Hi I’m Danube

Facilitator of healing, guide and co-creator of a joyous world.

My journey toward the healing arts was not so direct…

After getting my bachelor’s I pursued a career as a copywriter in SF, then woodworking in Maine. Though making furniture was fun and satisfying in many ways, by my early 30’s, I knew it wasn’t my calling. I had been dabbling in energy work, received my reiki certification and began to feel a strong pull to return to school and study holistic medicine after my pernicious allergies were cured with herbs. I had benefited from herbal therapy, massage, chiropractic and naturopathy, yet wasn’t sure which path to pursue. That was, until a psychic at a wellness fair said, “I see an apothecary and energy channels in the body. Have you considered acupuncture?” I had not. I hadn’t even tried it before, but soon was on the other side of the country receiving my first treatment at the first acupuncture school I visited. And it was decided.

Throughout my life, I followed my heart and my hunches. Though I sometimes wondered where I was going, I trusted that I was where I needed to be and generally moving in the right direction. The underlying theme to my various careers and jobs was a genuine interest in people and their stories, first as a writer and then as a holistic health provider. Every individual has their own unique life experience and I was intrigued with what was under the surface. It started as talking to strangers on the Muni and later turned into talking to patients in a clinic setting. I realized quickly in my acupuncture career, I truly cared about each individual and not only wanted their body to feel better, but I wanted their life to feel better, if that's what they wanted.

As my love of people's stories developed, a parallel interest in all things metaphysical was growing. The idea of "magical manifestation" came into my life my second year in college. I came across a small used paperback at a library sale, "Creative Visualization" by Shakti Gwain. I remember taking it back to my apartment I shared with 3 roommates (still friends today) and secretly reading through the pages and doing the meditation exercises at the end of each chapter. It worked so well (meaning, I was seeing desired things showing up in my life), that I immediately stopped practicing. Why? Because I almost couldn't believe it, and to believe it meant that I was “out there”, and also that I had an advantage over others. It didn’t seem fair that I could achieve seemingly endless satisfaction while those around me struggled. It was not until years and many books later that I realized that manifesting our heart’s desires is our human birthright.

Every tool I now use to facilitate healing and personal growth for others, came into my life for my own healing and soul advancement. Chinese herbs cured my allergies. Flower essences shed years of embedded emotions and got me through some really challenging times. Trailblazing energy clearing sharpened my pendulum skills with a reliance that helped me make key decisions with confidence during a confusing pandemic. QHHT opened my perception to infinite wonders and gave me clarity about my purpose and how to best live it. Qi gong opened my channels and kept everything flowing. Each worked so remarkably well, I just wanted to share them with as many people as possible. And this is where I am today. I believe we can have peace, ease and even ecstatic joy if we wish. It just takes a some intention and dedication. A seemingly charmed person is no "luckier" than a fit person. It may take some consistent effort at first, but it is truly possible for everyone. Since I've incorporated daily practices of gratitude, visualization and thought training, my life usually flows pretty smoothly. Is it always easy? Of course not. But the rocky times are much fewer and far between, and are perceived with a sense of curiosity and empowerment. I now have the tools to help myself, and if I’m really stuck, I look to others. As Florence Shinn says in The Secret Door to Success, "It is almost impossible to see clearly, your good, for yourself; that is where the healer, practitioner or friend is necessary," This is my role for others at those difficult times in their lives. It all comes full circle.

I am committed to treating every individual with love and care, without judgment or assumption. With a pure heart and clear intention.

I connect to an individual’s higher self and a conversation starts. A way is shown that leads to surrendering, shedding, balancing and tuning in - to whatever it is the heart desires. The goal is up to the individual. I am merely a facilitator, opening a pathway.

With a simple shift in perspective, life can be a game. I believe to play it is to discover one’s life purpose; and to win it is to live it. I would love to help you live yours!

The more of us who are living fulfilled, purposeful lives, the higher the Earth's vibration and the more all of humanity benefits.
